One Saturday in November, QV1’s iconic multi-level Plaza was reimagined into a pulsating playground of music, movement and light, as PSO delivered a high-voltage celebration like Perth had never seen before.
More than a concert, this is was multi-sensory journey – where orchestral brilliance meets cutting-edge performance, where classical collides with contemporary, and where Perth’s identity as the City of Light shines brighter than ever.

A celebration of one of Australia’s most iconic bands. From the pubs of Perth to the global stage, INXS defined a generation with their unmistakable energy, swagger, and raw musical power. Their songs proved timeless, their influence enduring, and their legacy resonated far beyond the stage.
Perth Symphony, reimagined the INXS catalogue with a full symphony orchestra, the intention to honour the spirit of the original recordings while revealing new emotional depth and cinematic scale—amplifying the passion, drive, and intensity that made these songs unforgettable.

Moora Haybales
Marking the culmination of PSO’s year-long Green Shoots program, a community engagement initiative that saw Perth Symphony Orchestra musicians collaborate with local musicians and schools to foster regional creativity and strengthen cultural connections.

What do you get when you cross an orchestral concert with a karaoke sing-along?
Orchestra-oke! The free, fun, family-friendly event that the whole of Perth will be talking about.
Singers of all skill levels, from the seasoned to complete novices, take to the stage and perform alongside a live orchestra, creating a musical fusion of professional instrumental performance and enthusiastic vocal expression. Add to that you singing along from the audience of course – and it’s the guaranteed feel good evening of the Festival.
